Justin Weis

A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Justin Weis is making a name for himself as a soloist, traveling the world and competing with his euphonium. Recent achievements include winning the euphonium student division at the International Women's Brass Conference, placing 2nd in both the prestigious Singapore International Brass Festival and International Euphonium Tuba Festival, and was selected as a finalist for both the inaugural and second years of the Stars and Shipes Online Mock Band Euphonium Competition and the Delta Symphony Orchestra’s concerto competition in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Justin is working towards his doctorate in euphonium performance at the University of North Texas, where he serves as a teaching fellow under Dr. David Childs. He received a BM music education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and an MM euphonium performance with a conducting related field from the University of North Texas.
